Our
Goals
Durham
Citizens for Responsible Government is a diverse citizens
group working together for common-sense planning policies
to protect Durham’s future. We support responsible government
policies that stimulate economic growth, better our education
system, protect and encourage home ownership, promote financial
accountability and ensure adequate planning for our future.
Our
Three Goals:

 Education:
We are a source of objective information on policies being
considered by Durham county and city governments and their
impact on our community. We sponsor educational forums,
publish newsletters and other materials to help our citizens
stay informed about policies and programs that affect
our future.

Advocacy:
Durham Citizens for Responsible Government lends strong
support to efforts that further strengthen good planning,
education and economic policies in the Durham area.

Opposition:
Our diverse citizens group evaluates government plans
and voices opposition to any policies or programs that
negatively impact our citizens, businesses or local communities.
Durham Citizens for Responsible Government is a diverse citizens
group open to anyone who shares our goals for protecting Durham’s
future. Membership fee: $25.00 annually.
